Hello, all!

As many of you know, I have been working for several years at opening a healing center close to my land in Boscawen. The time has come for me to put more effort into making that move.

While I do not have a re-opening date on the calendar yet, I am announcing that I will be closing the doors to the shop in Concord on Saturday, August 16th at 4 PM. There will be a clearance sale starting next Tuesday, the 5th, and while percentages off will vary, everything except consignment items will be marked down.

Most retail (candles, tea pots, incense, heat packs, bags, cards, Menus & Music, home décor in general) will be 50% off. Crystals, books, jewelry and tea supplies will be 20% off. All Kestrel Crossings products, including the bulk herbs and essential oils, will be 10% off. The more you move, the less I need to truck with me!

Between the Concord store closing and the new practice opening, I will continue to take clients over the phone, and the webstore will remain up and running (and will hopefully receive a makeover during the hiatus!). As always, I am happy to ship products out to those needing them.

Rest assured, Sage Living will re-open in the not-too-distant future! We will be a bit further off the beaten path, but we will soon have gardens to play in, woods to walk in, and space more conducive to healing and learning!

I hope to see you all during this time of change, and am grateful for the friends and clients I’ve met in my 3 years in downtown Concord.

Hey, folks!

We’ll be doing an Inventory Clearance Sale this weekend as part of Market Days. Basically, anything that isn’t handmade is on sale. Books are 20% off, candles, incense, and crystals are 30% off, and teapots, garden kits, Eco-chic bags, spun bamboo, Stolat Organics, Just Naturals/Grayson’s products, Aurora glass and non-consignment Jewlery are all 50% off.

Market Days runs tomorrow through Saturday. We will be open our normal business hours, 11-6 on Thursday and Friday, and 10-4 on Saturday. Hope to see you then!

Also, we got a brief mention on GreenSceneUSA.com as part of a writeup on Green Concord. The article is basically a zip trip through the members of the group and is focussed on bringing in folks from out of town. Check it out here: THE ARTICLE!

Hope you’re having a good week, and staying in the shade!

New Items and Continued Customer Appreciation! May 14, 2008

Filed under: Shop News — sageliving @ 6:30 pm

Hi, all!

Those of you who have had time to venture outside know that it’s a beautiful day out there!  This morning I played with the Comfrey and Angelica, and tended to some new little plants I’m thrilled to get, Bloodroot!  Such gorgeous little flowers, with such big medicine in the roots.  Bloodroot is endangered, and I am honored to have the opportunity to grow some at home.

At the shop, we just got in some posters and cards from local artist Janina Lamb.  With themes like “Nurture Nature”, the poem “Desiderata”, and her beautiful presentation of “The Pledge of Allegiance” (to the Earth!), I’m sure you’ll love her artwork as much as I did when I first saw the Earth Pledge 2 years ago.

We’re continuing the Customer Appreciation/Spring Cleaning sale through the end of the month.  Just swing by the shop, spend $10, and pick a flower to see what your free “Thank You” gift is!

Hope you manage to get outside and enjoy some of this spectacular weather!

Green Blessings,

Rebecca & David
